Dear Friends and Neighbors,
The Long Beach Soup Kitchen, located in Long Beach New York, has been part of the community for over forty years. The kitchen began in 1983 and continues its important mission to feed the food insecure residents of our barrier island and neighboring communities.
We are so grateful to all of you who have given so generously in the past.
The continued commitment and dedication of our volunteers enables us to open our doors Monday through Saturday to provide meals and a food pantry. We serve all of our guests with dignity, compassion, and respect. Our daily goal is to provide food and nourishment in a clean and safe environment.
Our volunteers prepare and serve both a cold and hot meal each day as well as pantry items two times a week. We offer fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, toiletries and cooking staples. We remain steadfast in our goal to stay open, but our supplies are depleted weekly due to the large volume of guests. This year we have served over 20,000 meals to go.
We need your help to meet our goals and mission. It is vital that as a community you support us and remember that the soup kitchen is here for all in need, regardless of their circumstances. Most of our operating expenses depend entirely on your generosity and donations.

We need your help to reach our goals and mission. Our weekly and yearly operating expenses depend on your generosity and donations. You can make a one time contribution or set up recurring donations of any amount you choose.
LBSK has served over 20,400 meals annually and climbing.
The Long Beach Soup Kitchen distributes hot and cold meals to-go six days a week
Monday through Saturday from 11:15am until 12:45pm.
The Food Pantry is available on Mondays and Thursdays and includes fresh fruits, vegetables, breads, non-perishables and canned goods.
All are welcome. Anyone in need of a delicious meal is invited to join us.
